The Los Angeles area node of Pacific Wave consists of three sites located in downtown Los Angeles. For those groups with transpacific circuits, these facilities are an easy fiber hop away from the major U.S. Pacific landing points in California or Tijuana, Mexico.
- 624 S. Grand (One Wilshire) Building, managed by CRG West, is a premier telecommunications building in Los Angeles, location of many telecommunications carriers. Pacific Wave can take connections both in the Fiber Meet Me Room (“FMMR”), and also IX2 space on the 3rd floor.
- 600 W. 7th is located just a few blocks away from One Wilshire and also houses many collocation providers and telecommunication carriers. The Pacific Wave switch is located within the Equinix Collocation facility making cross connects from that location very easy. There are other Collocation providers within the same building.
- 818 W. 7th is located a couple of blocks away from 600 W. 7th and has many fiber, telecommunications and collocation providers. The Pacific Wave switch is located within the Equinix Collocation facility (formerly known as Pihana Pacific) making cross connections from that location easy. There are other Collation providers within the building.
